Free of charge lungs X-ray exam
MFD Healthcare Group, supporting the World Tuberculosis Day, on March 24 will offer a free preventive lungs x-ray.
The aim of the World Tuberculosis Day is to build public awareness about the global epidemic of tuberculosis and efforts to eliminate the disease.
Lungs x-ray is recommended to those, who are objected to one or more of these risks:
- If there are complaints of prolonged cough (more than 3 weeks), night sweats, weight loss with no known cause;
- Patients with a weakened immune system because of HIV, diabetes or other medical conditions, e.g. long courses of medication, such as corticosteroids, chemotherapy;
- Being in close contact with someone who is of was infected;
- Adult family members of a pregnant woman;
- People working in medical sphere, with children or food;
- Living in poor or crowded housing conditions, such as dormitories.

Prior appointment and a doctor’s referral are not required!
