MFD Healthcare group invites to have free of charge heart health check-ups
In the end of September Riga residents will have an opportunity to visit a cardiologist and to undergo electrocardiography at the MFD Cardio centers.
The heart and cardiovascular system diseases are the most common cause of death both in Latvia, and in Europe. People start facing these problems very early, according to statistics, starting from the age of 36.
The main risk factors of cardiovascular diseases are smoking, diabetes, stress, hypodynamia, excessive use of alcohol, sedentary work, computer games, unhealthy nutrition, obesity, high blood pressure.
Taking into account, that most of Latvian residents are subjected to at least one of these risks, it is advised to have electrocardiography once in three years starting from the age of 18.
In order to draw the residents’ attention to the timely heart health care, in the context of World Heart Day, MFD Cardio centers invite to free of charge visits of experienced cardiologists, including electrocardiography, and based on the results of the check-up, recommendations on heart health maintenance.
